A galaxy of stars twinkle sporadically,
Like electrical signals firing between synapses
Strangely in equilibrium with another.
They form a highly entropic constellation,
Yet there is oddly order to the randomness
And a fabric of harmony assembles.
At the molecular level,
Relationships build a community that
Wire into an ecosystem;
The metabolism of one fuels the metabolism of another.
The equation teeters between different charges,
Creating a zwitterion of balance,
As a reaction only exists when both disorder and algorithm meet.
Those different charges and stars unite
In a nucleus where together, they transcribe ideas.
We speak in two languages:
The genetic sequence that created us,
And the digital code we create.
