I.

I have never felt

An anguish quite like this one

Breath caught in my throat

II.

I lie down my head

TXTACOS has scorned my love

Again and again

pain's prescription

the brisk chill against my face

quiets the eyes that just cried.

i thought i was fine, no broken parts to replace,

but maybe the wound was always hiding.

now it’s so clear to me:

the greatest medicine is therapy.
