NSC Spotlight: Explore UT

NSC Spotlight: Explore UT

NIHAL CHOWDURY Each year, the University of Texas at Austin hosts Explore UT — "the biggest open house in Texas.”

During Explore UT, student organizations throughout the university have the opportunity to set up booths with activities for the community to participate in. Visitors participate in hands-on demonstrations with university students and faculty, showing off the university’s scholarship and service.

This year, the Natural Sciences Council  booth made colored silly putty in a fun, simple science experiment using Elmer's glue, Borax detergent, and food dye.

Check out this gallery to see how NSC does science outreach!
