We are excited to invite everyone to SURF, held this semester on March 6, 2015 in the Quadrangle and Lone Star Rooms in the Union Building from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This year SURF is going to be a science carnival with a graduate student panel and interactive science games and activities for participants. Please come and join us as we learn more about science and about the research being conducted on campus. There will be free food and drinks (and prizes!).

SURGe (Science Undergraduate Research group) is a dues-free undergraduate organization that introduces undergraduate students to the research conducted at the university in science and non-science fields. We attempt to connect students to research opportunities on campus and work alongside the Office of Undergraduate Research to allow students the opportunity to speak to faculty regarding their research. SURGe hosts two big events every year—Roads to Research during the fall semester and SURF during the spring.

SURGe Officers—Pruthali Kulkarni, Alyssa Koeter, Albert Lee, Hailey Driscoll, Robyn Ibanez, Grace Liu, Marshall Rucker, Katie Lewis, Cody Cole, Tipp Umrod, Briana Gray and Victor Lam
