Q. How do I find research opportunities that relate to a graduate field in which I am interested? (Eamon D.) A: One resource you can use is Eureka, UT’s database for undergraduate research opportunities. The website was a bit antiquated, but the School of Undergraduate Studies has been improving it- I, myself (Aunt Cat, I suppose), participated in a focus group for improving Eureka. I anticipate the search engine can be a great resource for students like you seeking research opportunities!

In addition, the department websites offer a great deal of information about individual research groups run by your professors. Connecting with your TAs and professors for classes in your major, if you are interested in their research, is a great way to find an opportunity.
